Ben mihm - The Founder

Ben Mihm founded Emergency Response Crime Scene Cleaning in February of 2000. He served as a Glendale Police Officer and Homicide Detective for 20 years. Ben was injured in the line of duty and forced to retire from a career he loved. While he served as a Homicide Detective, he came across numerous scenes where there was a need for a professional crime scene cleaning company that could respond and handle complex needs.

He decided to develop a company that could not only handle Bio- Hazardous cleanups, but focused on Tear Gas, Forensic Chemicals, Disease Sanitization, and Disposal of both Medical and Hazardous Waste. He developed specialized services for Law Enforcement and designed specific trucks to vacuum and recover blood, oil, and fuels from roadways. He continues to design, develop, and teach educational safety programs for Law Enforcement and Municipalities. Currently he provides all the services for the Los Angeles Police Department and over 30 local agencies.
